Our Stantec HR UK&I team are a passionate team of HR professionals supporting a UK&I region of almost 4,000 talented engineers, scientist and functional support staff. We now have an excellent opportunity for a passionate HR Advisor to join us in Warrington, Reading or Bristol. This role supports a larger HR team based in Stantec offices throughout the UK.
You will play an important role within the team and your role will oversee our business lines. You will provide generalist HR support to managers and employees while providing accurate and timely employee relations advice to employees within designated business line, including recruitment, on-boarding, inductions, performance management and learning programs to achieve business goals.
You will be the first port of call for all employee relations queries, advising employees and managers on all HR matters. You will lead on employee relations issues including performance management, disciplinaries and grievances under the guidance of the HRBP.
An important part of your role will be liaising with HR Colleagues and other departments in the UK and around the globe on matters relating to new hire set-up, HR Data, approvals, validation and compliance while continuously looking for improved ways of working and offering insight and feedback to the wider team.

About You
Ideally qualified with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources Management, Business, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, you will have previous HR Advisory experience within a fast paced and changing environment where results focused perspective is essential. CIPD level 5 qualification but CIPD level 3 may be considered if experience is demonstrable.
You will have experience partnering with managers and employees, and your skills to influence and challenge as appropriate will be important. You will have the ability to effectively organise, plan, prioritise, and manage time and competing priorities. You will have experience interpreting analysis and metrics to identify trends and/or potential issues and form and communicate insights.
You will have a good level of English and strong interpersonal communication skills. You will have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (skills in Word & PowerPoint, intermediate level expertise in Excel) while experience with Oracle or ITrent would be an advantage. You will have good numerical and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. Your problem-solving skills will be important. You will have gravitas to influence business leaders and establish credibility.

Note: We offer hybrid working options with the expectation of attending the office 3 days per week. For our Warrington office, its likely the successful candidate will need to be able to drive to the office due to the location.
