The Opportunity

We are looking for Graduate Bid Managers to be based in our Warrington office, joining our 2025 Graduate Programme.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our progressive, award-winning team. As a Graduate Bid Manager, you will be working in Stantec’s marketing services team comprising bid managers, marketing professionals and graphic designers in Warrington. You will be providing full bid management and production capability for Stantec’s Water and Energy & Resources businesses in the UK, working on bids for projects ranging from large, complex water treatment works and hydroelectric power schemes, to data analytics for smart water networks and business transformation projects.

 

Our busy water & energy resources marketing services team provides a key role within Stantec’s business. We help to win the work that keeps our engineers, scientists project managers busy and you will be involved in helping the business meets its targets and growth ambitions

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a range of procurement portals to facilitate access to client invitation for proposal documents
  • Arranging and facilitating, “go / no-go” calls, kick-off calls and progress calls with the bid team
  • Providing the contact and facilitating communication between the client’s procurement team and our bid team
  • Managing the development of bid documents, including elements of writing and development of responses based on existing collateral 
  • Working with technical specialists to complete responses to technical questions
  • Working with commercial managers and the legal team to complete commercial and contractual submissions 
  • Liaising with resource managers and project managers to identify resources 
  • Working with the graphic designers to develop graphics, presentations, and documents
  • Proofreading/editing/formatting bid documents and CVs
  • Ensuring bid submissions are compliant, customer focused, easy to evaluate and delivered within deadlines set

 

About You

 

At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with a degree and/or master’s qualification in a relevant Business Management, Marketing, or relevant discipline, and a keen interest in our industry, we’d love to receive your application if you have:-

 

  • Excellent at time management, coordination and organisational skills
  • Excellent level of written English
  • The ability to effectively engage/collaborate with a wide variety of professionals from a range of disciplines at various levels of the business
  • An ability to manage a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Work both as part of a team, and independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Calmness whilst working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Proactive

 

Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensure that colleagues are able to provide the appropriate level of support.
