This is an opportunity for you to develop our growing sustainability offering locally, as part of wider UK Team. You will be naturally proactive and help support the development of the local service offering in response to evolving national and local legislative drivers.

Your key responsibilities will be to provide support in the following areas (list not exhaustive):

  • Supporting and delivering BREEAM and LEED certification projects.
  • Preparing Sustainability and Energy Statements in support of planning and compliance.
  • Undertaking Building Regulations Part L assessments using IES.
  • Carrying out dynamic thermal modelling, including thermal comfort and overheating risk assessments.
  • Supporting Whole Life Carbon (WLC) assessments and Circular Economy statements.
  • Supporting Climate Change Adaptation and resilience studies.
  • Managing your own workload to meet agreed project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Reviewing project information and helping to develop sustainability targets.
  • Reviewing documentation provided by project teams and assessing it against agreed targets.
  • Setting up and maintaining projects using sustainability evidence trackers.
  • Communicating sustainability requirements clearly to internal and external team members.
  • Producing concise, high-quality reports providing advice and guidance to clients and project teams.
  • Attending site visits to review progress against sustainability targets.

ABOUT YOU:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A relevant degree, BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent/higher.
  • Background in building physics/environmental design, environmental science or sustainability related disciplines.
  • Strong working knowledge of IES VE modelling.
  • Knowledge of planning policy, environmental assessments or wider sustainability legislation.
  • Technical awareness of building services related disciplines.
  • Proactive, ambitious and enthusiastic.
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • A good understanding of the construction industry and built environment.
  • Experience managing project tasks, expectation contributing to successful delivery.
  • Experience with IES & One Click LCA.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members.
  • Confidence in client-facing roles and contributing to project coordination.
  • An interest in developing commercial and business development skills.

If you're ready to bring your enthusiasm and expertise to a team that's genuinely passionate about creating a more sustainable future, we'd love to hear from you.
